Gear | K2 to Introduce Line of Boots

For the first time since the 70s K2 is getting back into the boot game*. The company plans to unveil two lines; a touring line and an all-mountain lineup that doesn’t come from a racing heritage. We think they look pretty dang cool. Check it for what we know thus far…

(*Editor’s Note: We are fully aware K2 owns Line/Full Tilt. However, those are not branded under the K2 brand specifically nor are they “new” as the molds are the same our dads were in)

There will be a total of 8 boots within 2 lines. The more traditional All Mountain collection of 6 boots, (3 for men and 3 for women) dubbed the SpYne and SpYre. These boots appear to be “normal” resort oriented boots (no tech fittings or walk mode). Perhaps more interesting, there will also be a “Freeride” boot line consisting of two models dubbed the Pinnacle 130 and Pinnacle 110. These boots do feature a walk mode and tech fittings.

UPDATE: For those (nerds) wondering Last offerings for the Pinnacle are:

Pinnacle 130 – 97mm (LV) and 100mm

Pinnacle 110 – 100mm
